Why I’m Running?
I’m running for Mayor of Sandy Springs — again — because I believe in this city and in the people who call it home. The challenges we face haven’t gone away, and neither has my commitment to fight for solutions that put families first.
This isn’t about politics. It’s about people. I’ve listened to our educators, small business owners, first responders, and working families. I’ve heard the struggles of parents who can’t find affordable childcare, teachers who can’t afford to live where they work, and neighbors who spend hours in traffic while wondering if anyone in government is listening.
I’m running again because this fight is too important to walk away from. Sandy Springs deserves leadership rooted in integrity, transparency, and humanity — leadership that lifts from the bottom so we can rise together.
And as the next Mayor of Sandy Springs, I will do just that — listen to the people and give everyone a voice.

With deep roots in the community, Dontaye has worked tirelessly to address key issues such as economic development, public safety, and youth empowerment. His vision for Sandy Springs focuses on smart growth, sustainable opportunities for all residents, and investing in programs that uplift children and families.
Guided by integrity, compassion, and a commitment to service, Dontaye is running for mayor to bring bold, innovative solutions to the table and make Sandy Springs a city where every resident can thrive.
